Mark Ingram, Producing Director for Chicago Jazz Philharmonic Mark Ingram

As a musician, composer, producer and performer, Mark Ingram has been very active in the music industry for over 25 years. He was Midwest production coordinator for the Anheuser-Busch Concert Series for more than 15 years, producing shows with such notable artist as Lou Rawls, Chaka Kahn, Nancy Wilson, The Temptations, Peabo Bryson, George Wallace, Gladys Knight, Dianne Reeves, Sinbad, Ashford & Simpson, Jennifer Holliday, Angela Bofill, Roberta Flack, Patti Austin, Roy Ayers, George Duke, Rachel Farrell, George Clinton, Morris Day & The Time and many more.

Mark has hired musicians and singers for various recording projects under the Atlantic, Warner Brothers, Columbia, Epic, Arista, MCA and Capitol record labels. He has secured musicians for on and off-camera performances for several feature films including DreamWorks Pictures’ “Road To Perdition” starring Tom Hanks and Paul Newman; Universal Pictures’ “The Babe” starring John Goodman; Columbia Pictures’ “A League of Their Own” starring Tom Hanks, Gena Davis, Madonna and Rosie O’Donnell; Paramount Pictures’ “The Experts” starring John Travolta and the Paramount Television series “The Untouchables.” Mark, himself, has performed with such notables as Michael Bolton, Patti LaBelle and Carol King, to name a few.

Mark is president of 3Sixteen Records and Orbark Productions, an independent record label and music production company located in Chicago, Illinois. He’s vice president of Discover Music Discover Life, Inc., a comprehensive K-12 interdisciplinary education program for at-risk youth, and co-founder, with business partner Orbert Davis, of Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, a 55+ piece symphonic jazz orchestra. Mark lives in the South Suburbs of Chicago with his wife, Angela.
